Silverfern

This silver moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In heathlands, and In rainforests.
It is huge, growing up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very flimsy.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
