Turquoise Vine

This colossal vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,257 feet (687.9 meters) and growing as high as 795 feet (242.3 meters).

It takes 22 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 4.2 feet (1.3 meters) and remain soft and fleshy.

The sickle shaped, rough leaves reach up to 2.7 feet (81 cm) in length. They are aquamarine and blood red, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several large turquoise flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a few small berries.
