Crimson Vine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 37 feet (11.3 meters)0.

It takes 6 months for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and woody.

The thin, soft leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are bold yellow and red, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces bunches of small gold flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small fruits.
