Amber Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This large, orange-yellow grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are robust.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, amber flower.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
