This orange-yellow moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainforests.
It is large, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely durable.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

It comes in 14 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
