Crimson vine

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters)0.

It takes 6 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are flat and wavy.

The pleated, fuzzy leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are found in blood red, lilac and aquamarine varieties, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several giant beige flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny berries.
