Creamgrass

This average-sized, light red or cream grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, cream tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
