Brownstalk Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized, light brown grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, green flower.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.

It coexists peacefully with other plants.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
