Redvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 17 feet (5.2 meters) and growing as high as 90 feet (27.4 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 11 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and gnarled.

The needle-like, crispy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are grey with black tips, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of tiny amber flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of tiny fruits.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
