Coppergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in extensive patches that are durable and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, brilliant yellow puff.

During the early winter, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.

A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
