Red Viner Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in sparse patches that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, drab red tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
