Silverbell Brush

This enormous shrub grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 164 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous stocky, angular stems covered in wrinkled, black bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are very short and thick that and are covered with copious amounts of small, circular, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are cream on the sides and silver at the center, robust and smooth.

In mid-spring it produces dozens of small, subtle green flowers with stiff, pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like paint.
