Crimson Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized, pink-red grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, azure tuft.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.

It blooms only at night.
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
