Indigo Firesucculent

This huge caudiciform grows up to 26 feet (7.9 meters) tall. The wide stem is red or cyan, and is dotted with small light brown spines. The straight, slate trunk can grow to as much as 26 feet (7.9 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its yellow-green branches are very long and thin and start growing halfway up the stem.

The handfuls of smooth-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are either sky blue or indigo, with crimson splotches. They are resistant, and detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either light grey or silver, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 21 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. It has a strong scent that smells like rotten meat.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the bronze flesh is smooth, and the brilliant yellow sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.
