Bloodfire

This average-sized cactus grows up to 48 feet (14.6 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is white, and is covered in hundreds of flexible blood red spines. The cuboid body is copper, and is dotted with small grey spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either light grey or silver, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has an intense scent that smells like leather.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the sky blue flesh is smooth, and the washed-out orange sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
