Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In damp forests, and In bogs.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and can spread and grow quickly, and is slightly resistant; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores.
