Yellow-green Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is large, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very frail.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
