Magenta Creeper

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 281 feet (85.6 meters) and growing as high as 139 feet (42.4 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 15 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 7 inches (18 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The fan-like, smooth leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) in length. They are magenta at the bottom and copper with brilliant blue dots at the top, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of large indigo flowers.
