Peachpetal

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its orange stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 6 and are thin and straight, and split into numerous branching stems at the top, and the huge, peach leaves are broad, flat with irregular edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

6 to 10 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with solid purple petals decorated with caramel dots and a peach central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has a faint scent that smells like perfume, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
