Copper Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters)0.
It takes 3 months for the copper or drab red stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.
The asymmetrical, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid caramel or olive, with subtle green patches, and have serrated edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces thick bunches of giant copper flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Several parts of the grass have medicinal properties.
