Copper

This average-sized cactus grows up to 63 feet (19.2 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 4 pleated stems. Each stem is copper or drab red, and is covered in thousands of flexible dark brown spines. The spherical body is dark brown and copper, and is covered in sharp spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with subtle green petals and a sky blue central disk, grow at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 15 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like fish.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the purple flesh is rubbery, and the hazel sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
