Silver Puffgrass

This average-sized, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, silver puff.

During the early summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
