Copper Moss

This green and copper moss is commonly found blanketing large areas On trees.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely hardy; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
