Turquoise
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This colossal leaf succulent grows up to 167 feet (50.9 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is yellow, and is covered in dozens of rigid white spines. The jagged-edged, very thick leaves are yellow-green with turquoise tips. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base in tight-packed layers. The leaves are hardy, but take some effort to detach.
It is steady-growing, taking 19 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid brown petals decorated with vivid orange lines and a azure central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. It has a delicate scent that smells like pine needles.
The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the gentle purple flesh is smooth, and the black sap is thin.
