Turquoisevine

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 14 feet (4.3 meters) and growing as high as 18 feet (5.5 meters).

It takes 4 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and slick.

The very thick, waxy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either black, or red with turquoise streaks, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of average white flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny fruits.
