Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 42 feet (12.8 meters) and growing as high as 138 feet (42.1 meters).

It takes 2 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The fan-like, clammy leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are solid azure or dark brown, with pink dots, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thick bunches of average white flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of large fruits.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
