Silver Moss

This silver moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly sturdy.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
