Brown Spikegrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This big, brown grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, orange spikelet.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
