Silvervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 395 feet (120.4 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 4 months for the silver or indigo stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are tough and woody.

The crescent-shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are generally light yellow, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of large cream flowers.

Before maturity, it can grow 0 per day.
The sap is edible and slightly spicy.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
