Coppergrass

This small, slate or copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, copper spikelet.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
