Burgundy Grass

This large, burgundy grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, yellow tuft.

During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
