Copper Creeper

This colossal creeper is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,113 feet (644.0 meters) and growing as high as 867 feet (264.3 meters).

It takes 16 years for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3.3 feet (1.0 meters) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The finger-like, waxy leaves reach up to 2.7 feet (81 cm) in length. They are lime green with copper tips, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces bunches of large copper flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny seed pods.
