Bronzeberry

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 50 feet (15.2 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is green, and is dotted with small ashy yellow spines. It has a crooked, round, bronze trunk atop a wide block of silky, exposed roots. The branches are wide and green and trail down across the ground.

The smooth-edged, broad, flat leaves are generally hazel. They are resistant, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with peach petals that gradient shift to hazel on the outer edge. The central disk is red grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. It has a delicate scent that smells like bleach.

The caudiciform's skin is nearly impenetrable, the lilac flesh is rough, and the indigo sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
