Limegrass

This huge, lime green grass grows up to 31 feet (9.4 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, ashy green flower.

During the late summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
