Azure Cactus

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 42 feet (12.8 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 5 tapering stems. Each stem is gray-green, and is covered in lots of flexible azure spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with beige petals that gradient shift to aquamarine on the outer edge. The central disk is faded blue grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 50 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like new carpet.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the grey flesh is waxy, and the silver sap is thin.
