Gray-Green

This large leaf succulent grows up to 74 feet (22.6 meters) tall. The thick stem is pink, and is covered in brittle green spines. The thick leaves are a shade of gray-green and yellow that gradient shifts to grey at the top. Thick bunches of them grow on flat, lime green branches that are tall, rigid and upright. The leaves are delicate, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are pastel orange on the underside and bold blue on the top, grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 51 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like coffee.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the aquamarine flesh is waxy, and the beige sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
