Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In damp forests, In bogs, and On rotten logs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very delicate; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores.
