Emerald Flame Moss

This turquoise moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In marshes, In damp forests, and On trees.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very robust.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
