Caramel

This small fruit tree grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 35 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 58 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a sturdy, wavy trunk covered in thick, cracked, brown bark, and inside, the soft wood is pine-coloured.

The small clumps of branches are short and slender and are covered with handfuls of large, thin leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are caramel and caramel.

In early spring, it produces hundreds of giant, silver blossoms with circular shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a powerful scent that smells like new books.

In late autumn it produces , long, narrow fruit. The crispy slate skin is stretchy and inedible, and the very soft crimson flesh is bitter and sour and juicy. The slate seed is very large and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.
