Magenta Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The cylindrical stalks grow in thin clumps that are robust and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, magenta puff.

During the early winter, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.

It is difficult to cut through.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
