Blazegrass

This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, deep yellow puff.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
