Cyanheart

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. Its cyan stems grow in bunches of 5 and are wispy with a curved tip, and the miniature, green leaves are spear shaped with toothed edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 44 cm (17.3 inches) wide, with solid grey petals decorated with cream lines and a dull blue central disk. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 7 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are sturdy.

It has the faintest scent that smells like mint, and it has lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
