Blueleaf Conifer

Shrub type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)

This giant shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for around 32 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has numerous wide, straight stems covered in ridged, burgundy and brown bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are long and thin that and are covered with thick bunches of huge, oval-shaped, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue at the bottom and hazel with vivid yellow edges at the top, flimsy and smooth.

It produces hundreds of small, blue flowers with many layers of petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have a mildly strong scent that smells like sugar. In late winter it forms smallbronze seed pods.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
The pollen is extremely toxic to people but not to certain animals.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
