Cream Moss

This cream or red moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In damp forests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
