Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized, brown grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are sturdy and flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, bronze tuft.
During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
