Copperflower

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its copper stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 4 and are thick and straight, and split into numerous branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the tiny, copper leaves are wide with jagged edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Lots of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with petals that are purple on the edges and gentle green at the center. The flower head is made up of 5 petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has a strong scent that smells like skunk spray, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a variety of insects.
