Crimson Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters)0. It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 3 months for the lilac or cyan stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The long, narrow, crispy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are either violet, or pink with blue splotches, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of small crimson flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny berries.


The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
