Copper

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 71 feet (21.6 meters) tall. The very thin stem is gray-green, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible subtle red spines. The stocky leaves are a shade of orange that gradient shifts to light brown at the top. Thick bunches of them grow on narrow, copper or cyan branches that trail down across the ground. The leaves are flimsy, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 42 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with each petal a slightly different shade of beige grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like burning wood.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the magenta flesh is rough, and the beige sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
