Copper

This short leaf succulent grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is copper or cyan, and is covered in many flexible blood red spines. The toothed-edged, perforated leaves are found in olive and olive varieties. Very large amounts of them grow from the base in a loosely patterned way. The leaves are sturdy, but detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 20 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are bronze on the underside and brown on the top grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. It has an overpowering scent that smells like leather.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the lime flesh is soft, and the pink sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
