Burgundyvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 884 feet (269.4 meters).

It takes 11 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The thick, sticky leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are red on the edges and caramel at the center, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of large indigo flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.

It has impressive regenerative properties.
